I am a Jesus lover and am married to Trisha, the most amazing woman and my best friend. My son Ethan fills my heart and teaches me so much about seeing the world with awe.

I am a graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute's illustration program and my passion for illustration is always growing, thanks to the likes of Herb Tauss, Sterling Hundley, Gary Kelley, Alexandre Day, Nathan Ford and many others.

A bit about my process. After some imagining and thumbnailing I settle on an idea. Next is the photo reference, which is manipulated in Photoshop (sometimes a lot) until it matches the image in my head. The Photoshop image is the basis for my final drawing. I draw with charcoal. I love to get my hands messy, pushing the charcoal all over the surface. I usually finish with either watercolor, acrylic or colored pencil.
